History of Carter Green Lawyers Robina

For a small firm, the Mind Law Group at Carter Green Law Practice has built quite a legacy here on the Gold Coast.

Carter Green Law Practice was established by Tim Green, who had over 30 years of experience in conveyancing, property law, litigation and family law. After his retirement, he was succeeded by Director Steven King, who brought a wealth of experience with him.

Steven has over 22 years of post-admission experience in property law, commercial law, leasing, and wills and estate administration.

Steven is a Gold Coast local who has long been passionate about law, but also applies commercial and practical considerations to each client’s circumstances, which helps yield a wider range of options.

He attended Bond University and was admitted as a lawyer in 2001. Since admission, Steven has worked on the Gold Coast at a number of law firms. His main focus has been on:

Conveyancing, including acting in selling and purchasing residential homes and commercial property
Buying and selling of businesses
Leasing for lessors and lessees of retail and commercial property
Wills, business succession and estate planning
Estate administration

With a focus on property, structuring, commercial and estate planning, Steven’s many years of experience helps him to provide clients with a unique service specific to their case.

Mitchell joined Carter Green Lawyers in 2021.

Mitchell had previously worked for a prominent Gold Coast lawyer since 2017. He was admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland in 2018 after he obtained bachelor degrees in both Law and Business at the Gold Coast campus of Griffith University.

Mitchell has primarily practiced in property law and succession law with experience with residential and commercial conveyancing, drafting Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney and estate administrations. He also has experience in other general law matters and a keen interest in information and technology.

Mitchell is an all-round likeable man who works diligently with his clients always trying to achieve the best outcomes.

Danielle has been an integral member of the Carter Green team for the past 5 years.

Danielle has had over 30 years’ experience in the legal industry, and is known for providing a high quality of service to clients who are buying and selling residential, off the plan and commercial properties.

Danielle is a Commissioner for Declarations, and is able to witness legal documents as part of her service to clients.

Meet the Team

Steven King, Law Practice Director

Steven joined Carter Green Lawyers in 2016.

Steven was admitted in 2001 after obtaining a law degree from Bond University on the Gold Coast. Steven has worked primarily at two (2) other prominent Gold Coast law firms since his admission. His focus since admission has been on:

Commercial and retail leasing;
Conveyancing, including acting in selling and purchasing residential homes and commercial property;
Development work;
Buying and selling of business;
Share and Unit trust transactions;
Wills, business succession and estate planning;
Estate administration.

Steven was raised on the Gold Coast and remains a local. He has been passionate about the law and legal practice since secondary school and in 2017 he acquired Carter Green Lawyers.

Steven applies his passion for law, wealth of practical legal experience and local knowledge to best advise his client’s having regard to their specific circumstances. This approach often yields a wider range of options customised to achieve his clients’ specific objectives.
